Earlier this week, I had a piece published on PixelKin in response to the APA’s report on violence, video games, and aggression. I am certainly not the first nor the only mental health professional to object to the report’s methods and conclusions, so I approached the topic by examining the underlying research. I had intended to review each of the articles used in the statistical portion of the meta-analysis, but soon found that too overwhelming a challenge after the first article took several pages to critique.
The article is a deep dive into one of the articles used in the meta-analysis – hopefully – in accessible, non-eye-glazing-over language. Check it out here.
